We switched our son to private lessons with Mariela this past March and his progress has been incredible. Mariela really takes the time to get to know the children she teaches and gain their trust. This translates into them feeling comfortable with her in the water and being able to confidently practice their skills knowing she’s there every step of the way. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for swim lessons for their littles.

We absolutely love Mariela. She is firm and kind. Just a great coach all around. My boys enjoys their lessons and have come a long way from when we started. From fear of the deep end or jumping into the water to learning new strokes and kicks, they are thriving.

Mariela is an incredible swim instructor with the kindest heart. She is such a gifted swim instructor and my son was able to learn so much so quickly. We signed him up for lessons with safety being our number one priority. We were amazed at how quickly our son progressed with his skills. Mariela has so much patience and has such a calm and peaceful voice tone that made our son feel so comfortable with her since his very first lesson. Mariela meets swimmers where they are at and adjusts her lessons to meet all swimmers’ needs. Mariela takes time during the first lesson to establish a trusting bond with swimmers. Swim lessons are one of the best times of my family’s week. The joy and laughter of our son learning these essential skills makes us all so happy. Mariela is passionate about what she does, and I can’t imagine doing swim lessons with anyone else.

Our daughter is on the autism spectrum and loves the water so much. We are so lucky to have found Mariela. We love how she makes our daughter so comfortable in the water, accommodates her needs while teaching her how to swim. For us inclusion matters and we love how Mariela runs her sessions with our daughter. Her son Max also helps and teaches and we just love how they bond and teach.

My son has soared in his swim lessons with Mariela. He needed to re-learn how to swim, Mariela quickly built rapport with him, and he was off to gaining the skills. In a little over a month, he is a completely different swimmer.

Mariela has been amazing! My child has learned so much with her these past two months. She has been kind, patient and knows how to teach children the survival skills they need. The individual attention really helped him learn and focus on learning to swim.My son didn't know anything and has now become a confident in his swimming skills. I am so happy we found her.

Mariela is great with my son Archie! He has autism and Mariela is so patient with him. He really trusts her and has fun with her. He’s truly learning how to swim and we call him our little fish now. So glad we found someone we can trust with our little guy.
